Gloucester had some great Rock ‘n’ Roll groups during the 1950s and early 60s.
Here are just a few of them.

The Intruders

Right:
Crazy Cavan and the Rhythm Rockers
who actually hailed from Newport, but
were regular visitors to Gloucester.

This group started around 1964 and
underwent several name changes
including Count Dracula and the
Vampires and The Sundogs.

Left. The Rebounds.

The lineup shown
was Dido Vance,
Gerry Docksey,
Pete Docksey,
Tony Maskell and
Dennis Parnham.

Right. Thirst

This picture was taken in Kings Sq.

These bands were as good as
any you could see on TV.
