The old Gloucester livestock market when it was situated in what was later to become Kings Sq.

In 1907 there was a large fire at a wood yard in Gloucester Docks and, it would appear from the photograph , a vessel by the name of Salamander helped to put it out.

No prizes for guessing that the picture on the right is Staverton airfield in the 1900s.
